so, I've noticed something about the enemy's in this game, namely, they like to pick one character, and just focus them, and it's kinda... I don't think "lame" is the right word for it, but it makes it easy. But also ironically stupid hard to fail. If that were tweaked a bit in the enemy AI it'd feel a bit better in battles. Slightly more challenging, and make failure a real threat at most times.
Outside of that, I can see this game having some real potential! and I cant wait to see what comes next!
Hmmm, have you tried looking for a different AI script then? or do you think that editing the current one would be an easier method to try then? (or maybe there's an additional plugin that would work with it?) honestly, with how it looks like you're trying to make it work, it may need to be more custom made. Though there's a few games that seems to have something similar to what you're trying to do; one's called "Mira Co rescue" and the other is called "Lustfall" Maybe try asking those dev's for some help if they're up to it. Though they do seem busy at the moment, and that's just an idea. It's up to you what to do. Still, I hope that you have a good day, Christmas, new year, or heck, a good year for the whole of next year, I do really like this demo. Lot's of potential in this game right here. The game looks promising, however, it still has a long way to go, even the first dungeon (that at the moment is the only one you can visit) still needs some polishing, there could be more hazards than just the enemies, such as traps and cursed objects just to give some examples.
This is very good start, and I look forward to seeing stuff like the various status portrait states, and the cut-in animations, Sala. Only bugs I noticed had been already mentioned, along with there not seeming to be cut-in animations for the sex/bj commands (that your party can do) when NOT hypnotized. Which might be on purpose since those commands also don't have heart icons (unlike the hypno counterparts which do). But in case they're supposed to, thought I'd mention it.
It just needs a way to set up your own fights (maybe in the gallery once you've beaten the boss of an area). It's especially needed since none of the enemy groups have more than one drone tech, so only one pony can get the business at a time. Which is probably to be fair to the player so I get it, but being able to setup (or encounter) a fight that had more would be great.
All in all, a great initial showing. Looking forward to updates (and aforementioned porting of features to Sala).

Well, there's going to be maids, slime, vampires, bondage, machines, and straitjackets. The sex attacks and dignity mechanics is something I've never even thought about tbh.

You know, I was actually thinking about that, but thought I didn't have time to implement it: having the whole party droned would take the player to a remaining free pony village where they would capture mares for Sombra. Now that it's out the door, I think I can do something sometime.
Last night I monkeyed around and laid down some foundations for the hypothetical drone level. I just need mares to tie up, and lots of background shit to draw.
Well, I have beaten the game. It lacked an intro for a demo but can't complain. So here's my honest review.
It feels familiar to games I have played before. Like oddessy of Gianna. That being said, for some reason, Celestia is the only one that has the give-up option. Which is a darn shame because it doesn't knock out the other princesses. Like how odyssey of Gianna knocks out the entire team. So, work on that first. Also, I would like to point out that you can take certain elements from Odyssey of Gianna and be able to wear a drone outfit so you can use its abilities. Because as far as I am concerned, Cadence doesn't really add anything worthwhile. And so, I figured that I can turn her into a drone and change her class into that of a drone. Have an entirely new move set.
Also, I find it dumb that you have to pay to heal but that's just my personal gripe.
Well, she doesn't have anything that allows her to hit hard. Her healing ability is just that...healing. And she has a double attack that she doesn't gain until later on. And even then, you can bearly use it at all. Either because you are using magic that. Most of the time, I am just spamming Celestia's magic to kill everyone anyway. The only reason not to lose Cadence is to make sure that at least one other pony is not fully captured.
I still say that you can for the most part use the drone ability after you beat the first level. Becoming a sort of super solider.
Sala's simply doesn't manage to grab my attention, Princess Rescues start off immediatly with ennemy that can apply to you all the status related to ropes, scissors and hypnogears for instance; the mid-battle status with CG change is something I personatly really like. And Sala's... Well doesn't seem to my knowledge to have that, with the first enemy's at least.
It may sound dumb, but it's mostly because of this.
Okay, have another question if you want to answer. Are there gonna be other species in the game? I know there gone be pony's, changeling's and bat pony's(Vampires). Is there a chans that dragon's, griffon's, diamond dog's or other species of the mlp universe will be in the game?
Changelings, yes. Batponies I think I can work them in somewhere. Dragons are gonna be difficult to stick in there. Griffons I can do some stuff with. Diamond Dogs will be in there for sure at some point.

The idea behind this was to test new plugins and techniques to impliment into Sala's Escape. And given the trouble that I had making the combat system in this one, I'd say it was a good thing I did: if I just skipped all of this and tried to put a poorly tested system in Sala's Escape, the game would become a technical nightmare.
I do understand the concern over "overwork" and slow updates, but I can assure you everything is under control.
okay, I finished playing and I must say that I liked it a lot, but there's some things that I need to say
first of all is that when I open the game the window resolution and the game resolution aren't the same and the game doesn't scale, what make me have a big black void in my screen and also doesn't allow me to admire the game's art in all its splendor, I guess that you messed with yanfly's core engine and this is not a design decision so I wanted to let you know
also, some of the global attack (like twin flames for example) when selected cause the defeated enemies to show again and this actually made me believe that the game has endless battles, I know this is a problem of the pluggin you're using, I would offer myself to fix it but I don't think I could with this one so i'm just going to tell you so you can figure what to do next
about design decisions, I like the way you're driving this project, as I said in your post in derpibooru this kind of project is something i've been searching for a long time and i'm very pleased with what I see, my only criticism is that I think you deal with the drones and all the ponys enslaved by sombra very early in the game, i think they could still a lot more to offer before getting them free
and for last, I know that you said that you will not accept money from this project but I liked this so much that I'd like to help you in some way with the development, so as a rpg maker dev myself too, if you ever need help with anything don't hesitate in let me know here or in derpibooru and I will be more than happy to help in whatever I can

Thanks your your kind words and the long list of bugs. They've been brought up before and I've done my best to fix most of them. There's still a few stragglers here and there.
The re-appearing enemies are a very common issue that I have been unable to fix. They're not really respawned, they're just illusions. Think of them as just the angry, impotent ghosts of your foes while I figure out a way to fix that.
As for the drones, they are not the only ones enslaved by King Sombra. Each level holds even more slave ponies. What you just saw was a handful compared to the rest.
And I'd gladly accept help if needed, but I don't remember who you are on derpibooru?

Sorry. I should really re-read what I post. I meant to say that the animation for the regular blowjob did not show, it just showed the default naked sprite. Luna was still immobilized, this did not happen with the hypnotized one. Also, I've noticed that if they're tied up and they're stripped nude in the same turn, instead of being naked, they go back to fully clothed (only visually though)
does the games stops after the first boss? probably missed the text for that. On another note using F4 for fullscreen(really annyoing honestly), i still have the battlers all grouped up, with 70% of the screen completely unused in fullscreen.

I was trying to recreate it, but I can't seem to do so. Are you playing this from a USB device? RPGmaker games tend to screw up when you do that (happened to me when playing grove.)
Frustratingly enough, it didn't happen now that I've saved the game several times and fought every enemy in the room. Not the first time I run into weird, one-off issues that can't be recreated- and after reporting it too, no less! Wouldn't surprise me if it only happens when you don't save since I had to start over three times because of it or something incredibly specific. Man, I'm pissed.
Just my luck to find weird, stupid, one-off issues that can't be recreated. Hell, there was that one time I tried to play a fangame and plugging in my controller disabled the framerate limiter. Sorry if this was a waste of your time...
The character sprites seem to be reverting to the underwear ones rather than the drone ones when in the drone states.
Do the scissors drones do anything besides attack you the same as the baton drones? I would have thought they would be the ones stripping clothes but I haven't noticed them doing it.
i actually managed to get the drone CGs up using MTool and just setting Drone 1 on them manually, and it worked, so it's just not transitioning to the CG from the hypno/nude status.
A recommendation for the Everfree is actually based on an art I saw of a Timberwolf Applejack, like a Timberwere version of her, wooden hooves and that, like it's her mixed with a Timberwolf. I could send a link of that art
Applejack is actually imprisoned in the lobby, but timberwerewolves are still very doable. I had never thought of it! Can we extrapolate on this? What kind of bondage could we do with timber werewolves? Vines?
Probably vines, maybe also wooden branches curling around, maybe also have like an "infect" status that turns the princesses into Timberweres over time to achieve a Timberwolf-were transformation. I'll send links of Timberjack, the Timberwere Applejack I mentioned.
i also just remembered, there's also that plant from Season 4's pilot that caught Twilight and she had to be saved by her friends. It was definitely using vines, I think it tried to pull her into its flower bulb, though it's been a hot minute.
Just finished the first dungeon and while enjoyable, I did come across a few bug
1. If you use an AOE attack after you defeat an enemy their pic pops back up for the rest of the fight, it doesn't affect the rest of the fight it will just reappear
2. Duel shoot for Cadance doesn't do any damage
3. Probably just a random glitch but one time I used the vending machine the sprite for a bound Celestia replaced while I was using it
For 1: Don't know what the code looks like but my initial guess would be something like the AoE targeting indicator is using an out of date list of the enemies to display being targeted, rather than the currently alive enemies.
I think all this stuff runs on Javascript. Half the time I have no idea what I'm doing here. If I showed you the plugin do you think you'd be able to figure out what's going on? you might need to understand Japanese though...
I don't speak Japanese, sorry! I do know javascript. Is the code in the client side of this the same stuff you're working with on your end? I'm not familiar with RPG maker's dev environment at all.
I saw the Bound Celestia replacing the vending machines when interacting with them to the sides. It only happened to the first vending machine though. The second one turned into a statue
been playing thru this and i think the drone tech has an ai bug that nuters them mostly as a threat. been prancing about with one of the party nude and seems all they wanna do is fuck that party members mouth, not complaining as it makes a potentaly dangerous foe with its mp sapping more managable but i get the feeling thats not intended... or im having excelent rng luck.... also took me a bit to find the flim flam machine shop thing interacted with it by random chance.
... just a longshot but i know of annother person who made a game in the style like this. its been a bit but perhaps they might be of limited help. the person in question is named lipucd and they made a game called project qbee and a couple other thats been fogged over in my memory. perhaps they encountered this problem too and would know what causes it? granted its ancient rpgmaker stuff at this point so they may have forgot...
edit: some animation or such would be a good idea indeed. the question is what? from the dialog they are sorta like scammers... so flashing lights kinda effect maybe? could be pulled off by it simply cycling thru color to avoid giving a seisure...
I really appreciate your vision here and what you've got planned sounds exciting, I love stacking status effects to compound upon someone's helplessness. But do the graphics need to be so small? The enemy sprites are miniscule and the character portraits are crowded together so tightly they only use about 10% of the screen's real estate! It makes it really hard to appreciate the visuals

No, F4 does not fix it. It just fullscreens the window but doesn't change the resolution of the actual game graphics. Here: a screenshot of what I'm talking about and as a point of comparison, a screenshot of the same size of Mira Co. Rescue. Not only are things super tiny, but there's so much screen space not being used! You could easily space out the portraits a bit more to give them more breathing room
Hmm... it seems you're playing in windowed mode. THat might be causing it. I honestly have no idea how to get it working right in windowed mode. Maybe I should ask them about how to use that plugin?
Hmm, interesting bug, but I'm at 1080p screensize, and if I full size the game, it's black boardered really hard. First RPG Maker MV game I've had this issue with!

I have no idea how to make the AI stop doing that. I'll look at the plugin documentation, but the person who authored it is retired.

Yes. they should.
Just so we're clear on this: you're talking about encountering them in battles, not looking for them when you want them back, right?

No, on the second drone map you can retrieve your droned princesses from the drone docking station (those three alcoves with the glowing symbols)

As for being a drone, it's not a beneficial transformation. It's becoming literally brainwashed.

Beaten the demo so far, a shame you can't "force" some conditions on purpose to see all the CG's during the battle

Is it tied up and clothed, or tied up in underwear? Because the tied up and nude thing shouldn't happen unless one is tied up in underwear.
It needs some adjustments and tweaking I'd say but REALLY good job so far! Best of luck with this project.

Screen freezes after a while, though the game still seems to be going. No idea why.
That is a very strange one. I did not experience this i all the time testing. Could you send me a screenshot of where it does this?
It happens during battles in the first area, somewhere near the first stairs. I can finish the battle, but it doesn't seem to do anything to fix it.

A recommendation for the Everfree is actually based on an art I saw of a Timberwolf Applejack, like a Timberwere version of her, wooden hooves and that, like it's her mixed with a Timberwolf. I could send a link of that art
Applejack is actually imprisoned in the lobby, but timberwerewolves are still very doable. I had never thought of it! Can we extrapolate on this? What kind of bondage could we do with timber werewolves? Vines?
Probably vines, maybe also wooden branches curling around, maybe also have like an "infect" status that turns the princesses into Timberweres over time to achieve a Timberwolf-were transformation. I'll send links of Timberjack, the Timberwere Applejack I mentioned.

i also just remembered, there's also that plant from Season 4's pilot that caught Twilight and she had to be saved by her friends. It was definitely using vines, I think it tried to pull her into its flower bulb, though it's been a hot minute.

No, I did all of them.
Just finished the first dungeon and while enjoyable, I did come across a few bug
1. If you use an AOE attack after you defeat an enemy their pic pops back up for the rest of the fight, it doesn't affect the rest of the fight it will just reappear
2. Duel shoot for Cadance doesn't do any damage
3. Probably just a random glitch but one time I used the vending machine the sprite for a bound Celestia replaced while I was using it

For 1: Don't know what the code looks like but my initial guess would be something like the AoE targeting indicator is using an out of date list of the enemies to display being targeted, rather than the currently alive enemies.
I think all this stuff runs on Javascript. Half the time I have no idea what I'm doing here. If I showed you the plugin do you think you'd be able to figure out what's going on? you might need to understand Japanese though...
I don't speak Japanese, sorry! I do know javascript. Is the code in the client side of this the same stuff you're working with on your end? I'm not familiar with RPG maker's dev environment at all.

I saw the Bound Celestia replacing the vending machines when interacting with them to the sides. It only happened to the first vending machine though. The second one turned into a statue
I got on that in a bugfix version, still chewing on some other stuff.
been playing thru this and i think the drone tech has an ai bug that nuters them mostly as a threat. been prancing about with one of the party nude and seems all they wanna do is fuck that party members mouth, not complaining as it makes a potentaly dangerous foe with its mp sapping more managable but i get the feeling thats not intended... or im having excelent rng luck.... also took me a bit to find the flim flam machine shop thing interacted with it by random chance.
I could never get the AI to stop doing that. I'll have to tweak it again at some point.
Edit: and the flim flam machines I suppose could use a bit of animation maybe, to make them stand out?
... just a longshot but i know of annother person who made a game in the style like this. its been a bit but perhaps they might be of limited help. the person in question is named lipucd and they made a game called project qbee and a couple other thats been fogged over in my memory. perhaps they encountered this problem too and would know what causes it? granted its ancient rpgmaker stuff at this point so they may have forgot...
edit: some animation or such would be a good idea indeed. the question is what? from the dialog they are sorta like scammers... so flashing lights kinda effect maybe? could be pulled off by it simply cycling thru color to avoid giving a seisure...
I really appreciate your vision here and what you've got planned sounds exciting, I love stacking status effects to compound upon someone's helplessness. But do the graphics need to be so small? The enemy sprites are miniscule and the character portraits are crowded together so tightly they only use about 10% of the screen's real estate! It makes it really hard to appreciate the visuals
Character portraits are crowded together? I don't quite understand. As for the 'small' graphics, if you're referring to the screen size, I think you press F4 to fix that.
No, F4 does not fix it. It just fullscreens the window but doesn't change the resolution of the actual game graphics. Here: a screenshot of what I'm talking about and as a point of comparison, a screenshot of the same size of Mira Co. Rescue. Not only are things super tiny, but there's so much screen space not being used! You could easily space out the portraits a bit more to give them more breathing room
Hmm... it seems you're playing in windowed mode. THat might be causing it. I honestly have no idea how to get it working right in windowed mode. Maybe I should ask them about how to use that plugin?
Hmm, interesting bug, but I'm at 1080p screensize, and if I full size the game, it's black boardered really hard. First RPG Maker MV game I've had this issue with!
