Dev Log 5/27/2025: Breaking Radio Silence


Alright, time to break radio silence. Here's the game plan:

1. I need to test the stealth mechanics of the Maid Level. I thought it was complete, but there was some stuff screwed up in there. (guards not walking their pathways, commonevents not coded in, etc.) also I got some inspiration from Fear and Hunger and I want to code in a peculiar final boss.

2. We have a lot of CGs to draw up for the maid level. Without giving too much away, we have the obligatory final boss, we have the various "maid punishments" for pissing off the head maid, and we have the OC cameos in the drone game over level.

3. I've been working on the scenery overlays for the Drone Game Over level. It's almost done, so we're halfway done there.

4. I sense the maid level story might be too "mean spirited." The first maid missions involve cleaning up after one of Flim/Flam/Sombra/Chrysalis' orgy parties in the Flim Flam Bros. mansion. This means cleaning up spilled wine, wasted food, blood, and cumstains. The second involves fishing a dead body out of the pool. Compound that with the Head Maid being a vulgar, violent, heartless bitch who frequently disparages the princesses. I have to admit I know next to nothing about maids and what they get up to. 

5. When this is done, I need to go back to focusing on Sala's Escape. We're getting close to two years without an update, and it's driving me fucking crazy (and most of it is this piece of shit plugin's fault!) What started as a means to test plugins has itself come to life with it's own half baked plots and I cannot simply abandon either. I will need to come back to test a day/night system for that, and that can be the Vampire update. I may take a few shots at the Chaos Levels. They need all new battler sheets. Male Mode, Nightmare Mode, and Clown mode for all three princesses. That's nine sheets of battlers. And CGS. and levels to design.
