Dev Log 11-30-2023: Up Larry's Creek without a Computer


It's been 22 days since the last bug fix? Unacceptable, but I have a good reason: While my hand has healed up, my computer has not. Allow me to explain: being the naiive, trusting fool that I am, I believed my own research when I thought that replacing ram was as easy as just sticking the ram sticks in. Silly me: now my computer is in the shop for constant crashes.  Without that computer, I'm very wary of opening up Sala's Escape on the older computer that I have since nicknamed "the noisemaker." 

So that's where we're at right now: I'm up larry's creek without a computer. 

When/if I do get it back, I have a laundry list of bugs to fix and a battle system to recreate and test.

I've noticed a very positive reception toward Charna, a character who so far only appears in Dorice's game over or in one of the many fan commissions/fanart. I want to find a way to give her some more screen time. I think I can do this by making her a special encounter in the game when you've defeated a set amount of vampires (Like whatshisass from World of Warcraft, the centaur that you have to lure out by murdering every fucking centaur in the barrens) But right now we have only three possible lieutenants out of six (one for each vampire clan) I was working on a forth before everything went to hell. 

And yes, if you have the vampire bondage tome, you will be able to tie them up too. I might even make multiple cgs of them. Which means we'll need another gallery room for that. Collect 'em all!
