Devlog 4/12/2024 - Pay no attention to the Nuclear Explosions


Having finished up the graphical bits for Princess Rescue (the testing ground for Sala's Escape) I have begun testing the game itself, and it's a good thing I did: I almost ended up with things that would stab Sala's Escape's combat system in the ass.

Namely I seem to have been so focused on getting droning to work that I missed the small detail that being hypnotized overrides being tied up INSTEAD OF BEING IN TANDEM WITH IT. 

The obvious solution here: introduce a "tied up and hypnotized" state, complete with a "tied up and hypnotized in underwear/naked/sex slave" mode.

"Why are you talking about princess rescue? This is Sala's Escape." Because, as I mentioned earlier: it's the testing ground for the stuff I'm putting in Sala's Escape. If something fugs up in one, it'll fug up in the other. I want this combat system to go off %100 without a hitch.


On another note, despite adding battle backgrounds, I can't get rid of the "ghost of the enemy you just took out" bug. The japanese text one I could probably find if I find somebody who speaks Japanese.
